We are excited to announce a field trip to the Health Technology Exhibition on Thursday, October 10th, 2024. This is a mandatory field trip for students in Grade 10 and 11 as it ties into their classwork and assignments. Below are the important details:

• Departure from FCA: 8:30 AM
• Exhibition Visit: 10:00 AM - 11:45 AM
• Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
• Return to FCA: 1:30 PM

The exhibition will showcase cutting-edge medical technologies, with students getting hands-on experience and opportunities to ask questions to experts in the field.

After the visit, students will be required to complete a written assignment in French, focusing on the following topics:

• The benefits of improving medical technologies and who benefits from it
• Potential uses of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence in high-tech medical supplies

Parent Involvement

We will need 3-4 volunteer drivers. If you can assist with driving or if you have a larger vehicle, please let us know. Bilingual parents (English/French) with a background in medical fields are encouraged to volunteer to help students during the trip.

Lunch Plans

After the visit, we will enjoy a brunch or picnic from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM in Montreal. Suggestions for locations are welcome!
